Our drafting department uses the latest computer technology to incorporate the initial design ideas into a Dreambuilder Preliminary Plan which shows an accurate floor plan and elevations from all sides. This plan is used to make changes as required. These may be extensive or minor. No additional charge is made for changes.

The changes are then incorporated into final construction blueprints. In many cases these will be used directly to input the state of the art cutting equipment used. This guarantees internal consistency between the plans and the production of the timber components used in the actual custom cedar home construction.

The blueprints are also suitable for obtaining planning approvals and are also used by the chosen contractor to erect the frame and build your cedar home. In most cases, these blueprints also need to be engineered and Linwood will provide appropriate engineering stamps acceptable to local planning departments.
